
Lauren is a board-certified music therapist. She completed her music therapy education at California State University, Northridge and holds a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance, percussion, and theatre, from Belmont University.
Lauren served as a Program Director for Able Arts Work, TAP II, and as a music therapist for numerous residential psychiatric treatment facilities in Southern California. She and has taught music, theatre, and art at the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program Children’s Center since 2015. As a music therapist, Lauren provides mental health and wellness sessions for all ages.
Lauren also holds an Masters in Library Science from San Jose State University and is both a children’s/youth librarian and an adjunct professor of library science at various colleges in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. She is an OG-Trained reading specialist, handwriting specialist, and Certified TEFL Teacher.
